Start Tab Overview

This is where the user selects the standards of the door they want to create:

·          Construct a standard door or a curtain panel door

·          Amend the elevation swing direction to suit different international graphic standards.

·          Set the Door Factory Units to Metric (Millimetres) or Imperial (Decimal Inches).

·          Setup all the default values for all the parameter lengths (through the Default Settings button)

·          Setup parameter mapping for all the Door Factory parameters (through the Default Settings button).

·          Setup default naming.

System Settings: Default Values:

Door Factory component locations:

This is where the Door Factory looks for panels, architrave profiles, handles and user components. Refer to the Door Factory Multi-user Configuration for setup recommendations.

Parameter Mapping:

This is where you can setup all of the Door Factory Parameters to be mapped to your shared parameters during the creation of the door. Refer to the Door Factory Multi-user Configuration for setup recommendations.

Default Values:

These are the values that the Door Factory defaults to, including jamb dimensions, panel dimensions, architrave dimensions, handle offsets and tolerances. Browse through the different tabs above for graphical explanations of the parameters and change the values within the system settings to suit your specifications. Refer to the Door Factory Multi-user Configuration for setup recommendations.

 

 

 

 

 

 

System Settings: Default Naming:

This is where you can setup the default naming for the doors created within the Door Factory. This default pre-populates the name of the door in the Name tab.
