Handle

This is where the user selects the type of handles required. These can differ between the interior (swing side) and the exterior sides of the door.

Handle Tab Definitions

The following describes the parameter settings and values that can be set for the door within the Door Factory. All the parameters can be changed in Revit after the door has been created and loaded into the project. All parameters are classed as Family Wide Parameters, Type Parameters or Instance Parameters.

Handle Height

Family wide parameter.
Measured off the base of the door (i.e. normally the floor below, not the base of the panel) to the (top) fixing point of the handle.


Handle Offset

Family wide parameter.
Measured from the side of the panel to the side  fixing point of the handle.
